Murter is slightly further away from the festival (more so than Pirovac and Jezera) but still only 15/20 min taxi ride away from The Garden. Betina is next to Murter. Apartments tare generally very well kept and all pretty new so do cost a bit more than some of the cheaper locations nearer the festival. Many feature a beautiful sea view and pools too. Top tip; with new apartments the taxis may struggled to find the given address, so it would be worthwhile dropping your location pin to the driver too. We could easily walk to several beaches, some on the doorstep and some further afield but all walking distance. There is also great kiosk and a big Tommy supermarket shop down by the marina and beach.
Slanica Beach One of the most popular Beach’s in Murter as it is close to many hotels etc. It does get busy but has everything you need. Restaurants, ice-creams, cold drinks etc. Not too many stones and natural shade, minimal sea urchins too!
Podvrske Beach A stony beach approx 20 minute walk from Murter. Take water shoes to wear in and out of the sea as it is stony getting in and out and we were warned about the sea urchins and rocks. There are several takeaway food and drink stalls and a great little chilled out restaurant. Kontiki Beach bar & Food. It was very local and families go there so can be very busy. Beautiful scenery and a beautiful walk. You can ride your bikes easily there and also drive and park there but does have limited parking.
Cigrada Beach / Bay A stony beach approx 30 minute walk from Murter. You can park there for 10 per day. Although, very busy and little space to sit. There are lots of rocks you can sit on and bathe. There is an amazing cool restaurant under the shade of the trees. The Beach Toilets are not ideal as there is only one public portaloo on the beach. The Lantana restaurant has amazing pizza served outside under the Pine trees although beware of the pine needles falling in your beer!! You can also sit inside but it’s very popular so it does get busy. There is also Restaurant Čigrađa at the entrance to the beach which it’s more expensive.

ATM’s will charge you a fee, anywhere between 3-6 euro. Please check before you complete the transaction. It’s better to take out larger amounts than lots of smaller ones. Always complete the transaction in the local currency (Euro) where you can.
Tommy Supermarket - U. Na Skali 4, 22243, Murter. Near the marina. Has everything you need to make a few healthy meals in your apartment. Open 07:00 - 21:00. Closed on Sundays.
Plodine - Pačipolje, 20, 22243, Murter. Much bigger supermarket. Open 07:00 - 22:00. Closed on Sundays.
Ultra Supermarket - Podvrtaje 4, 22243, Murter. Small but local and handy for a few basics like chocolate and ice-cream. Open 07:00 - 21:00. Closed on Sundays.
Restoran Fabro - Right on the marina in a beautiful setting, with outside seating under cover, many love the fish and seafood. Quite pricy but good wine too. nb The Tic Tac Restaurant has better reviews for seafood. Žabićeva 7, Murter
Burger House - Huge portions and really popular. Extremely tasty. Not far from the beach/marina. Trg Rudina 2, Murter
There are so many restaurants around to choose from and worth a look on Trip Advisor to choose what you would like but mostly pizza and local Croatian dishes.
