This scheme has been operating for a few years. It was started for help solos and couples connect and share the cost of transfers, but it’s open to everyone.

You’ll add your arrival/departure information, then view a list of everyone’s arrivals/departures, and connect with each other to book and share a transfer.

Transfers are arranged by you, not by Defected Records or Defected Family. This scheme just connects people.

We ask that you only join if you want to share a transfer. For example, filling your car, then leaving a solo traveler behind to pay full price, instead of upgrading to a minivan is against the spirit of this scheme.

Step 1 Add your information

Just complete the Arrivals or Departures form (or both).

At the end you’ll see a Thank You message with a link to view the list.

You’ll receive an email from JotForm with two important links -

Step 3 View The List

Use the link from the Thank You page, or the email, to view the list. You’ll see an Arrivals and Departures page.
Look for people arriving/leaving around the same time. It's OK if they're going to/from a different village as yuo can drop off, or all go to the same place & finish with taxis. More festival attendees are joining the list each day, so if there’s nobody arriving/leaving close to your time, check back tomorrow !

Step 4 Connect With Others

Use the WhatsApp link to contact others arriving around the same time and agree to share a transfer.
Please make all efforts to include solo travellers - this scheme was started for them.. Leaving them behind to pay for a transfer for just one person is totally against the spirit of this scheme and the festival.

Step 5 Book The Transfer

One person will book the transfer for the group. It’s best for the person arriving last to make the booking. So if the flight is delayed, others are likely arrived already. The Transfer providers have every size of vehicle - cars, minivans, minibusses, coaches. The best value is to get a big vehicle, but if different groups are going to different places, it’s smarter to use two vehicles. Or it might be best to go to a common location such as Tisno dustbowl, and have everyone get taxis from there. We recommend agreeing arrangements in advance, such as sharing the cost and making payment.
We recommend booking your transfer 1-2 weeks before arrival. For departures, we recommend booking your transfer 3hrs before flight departure, but no later than 2.5hrs.
